Do I have to use a DTD
- As with HTML, you don't have to specify a DTD.
- Even if you define new markup...
- ... but client programs won't know how to interpret your
new markup unless you also define a DTD.
- As with HTML, you should specify a DTD...
- ... and we all do, don't we, children?
